The chemical properties of the membranes and the structural materials of the membrane elements used in the HP-MD/HP-TK series of products are suitable for terminal wastewater treatment applications, such as continuing to reduce the COD and total dissolved solids content of secondary and tertiary wastewater treatment discharge water. HP-RO membrane elements are designed for relatively high suspended solids content. HP-NF membrane elements are designed for water quality with very high values of TDS and COD. In addition, HP-MD membrane elements can be used for the concentration of high salt concentration.
