Solvent Filtration System

Carbon fiber is a high-strength, high-modulus, high-temperature resistant special fiber with a carbon content of more than 90% obtained by pre-oxidation and carbonization using polyacrylonitrile (PAN), asphalt, viscose and the like as raw materials. PAN-based carbon fiber is the main product in today's carbon fiber due to its excellent mechanical properties and wide application fields.

The DMSO method has a simple production process, a high polymer concentration, and a dense fiber, and can co-dissolve different polymers into fibers. Therefore, the selectivity of copolymerization or blending components is large, which is favorable for producing different series of high performance carbon fiber.

A well-known carbon fiber manufacturer has a system with a daily treatment capacity of about 5 tons per hour, and DMSO high concentration organic solvent can be used for cleaning, AMESTEC provides the company with a solvent filtration system for recycling products.
